Labels & Ribbons for the Brother TD-4 Series
The Brother TD-4 series takes 4-inch labels in rolls up to 127mm across. The thermal transfer TD-4420TN and TD-4520TN also take ribbons 40mm to 110mm wide, up to 300m long. Here's exactly what fits.
First, which TD-4 do you have?

Direct thermal models only work with direct thermal labels. All TD-4 models take rolls up to 127mm across.
Labels that fit
For shipping labels, 4 x 6 inches (102 x 152mm) on a 25mm core fits every TD-4 model:
- Genie 4x6 shipping labels, 475 per roll, 25mm core
- Genie 4x6 shipping labels, 500 per roll, 25mm core
- Genie 4x6 shipping labels, 600 per roll, 25mm core
On the TD-4420TN and TD-4520TN, labels must be wound outside. An optional external roll mount takes rolls up to 213mm across on a 76mm core.

Use a ribbon wider than your label. These are the same ribbon specifications as the TSC TE series.
Common questions
Can the TD-4410D use ribbons? No. It's direct thermal only, so it needs direct thermal labels and no ribbon.
Can I use 4x6 labels? Yes, on a 25mm core, on every TD-4 model.
Can you supply other label sizes? Yes. Our Genie labels are made in our own UK factory. Tell us the size and material you need and we'll quote.
